Bootlegger’s Far Out IPA

Bootleggers Far Out IPA7% ABV. India Pale Ale from Bootleggers Brewery in Fullerton, CA. I saw this beer posted everywhere on Instagram and being a fan of their Knuckle Sandwich DIPA, I knew I just had to try this one. Pours clear golden with a pillow-y white head that leaves behind real good lacing throughout. Aromas are of resin, dank hop notes, pineapple, herbaceous, tropical fruit, medium esters, light tangy notes, and sweet malts are detected. The flavor begins with a light bitterness then recedes to citrus, mild grain, dank, and a good chunk of tropical fruit. The beer finishes sweet and bitter with lasting citrus rind and a grapefruit bite. Lively carbonation throughout. Unlike some other IPAs, this is very light bodied and fairly quffable for the style.
