Tired Hands Mt. Sharp

Tired Hands Mt Sharp7.2% ABV. India Pale Ale from Tired Hands Brewing Company in Ardmore, PA. I was thrilled when I learned that an up and coming brewery was opening near my wife’s family in the Philly area. Even more excited that this brewery was looked at as a split image of Hill Farmstead Brewery over in Vermont that typically churns out high quality farmhouse style of beers. Mt. Sharp was one of the first beers I ordered from Tired Hands and it made a very good first impression on me! Pours a hazy pale orange with a creamy medium white head along with nice lacing that lasted well throughout. Lots of pine, citrus, grape fruit, orange zest, and sweet malts were picked up in the nose. The same could be said for the flavor profile – resinous-y, piney, and sweet n’ juicy citrus. Medium and resinous with a dry earthy finish in the mouthfeel. Overall, a solid IPA!
