Why Beer is Good for our Economy

A bar is one of the very few places in the world where people can put their differences aside and enjoy their drink together. I’ve bought stock in beverage companies such as Diaego producer of Guinness during economic downturns since people still drink no matter what. Probably more so when the going gets rougher. People have no idea how much money is poured into start-up brewpubs, microbreweries, and restaurants across the world thus creating job opportunities (e.g., staff, distributors, truck drivers, scientists, artists, glass makers, and so on).  The link below takes you to an article that highlights how a single segment of the beer industry can be so lucrative for a state economy such as in Michigan:
