Great Pumpkin Ale

4.4% ABV. Pumpkin Ale from the Cambridge Brewing Company in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Traded away a couple bottles of my favorite Willamsburg Alewerks Pumpkins for a 750ml bomber of this one. Quite disappointed with this one after much hype surrounding this beer. Pours a slightly cloudy golden orangish amber in color with a medium and tight white head that stuck around to produce a small amount of lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild of bready yeasts, pumpkin pie spices and very slight of pumpkin itself. Not impressed. Flavor is pretty mild all around with pumpkin spices with just a hint of pumpkin fruit. Although, there is a watery and slightly bitter finish. Expected more out of this well-hyped pumpkin beer.
