The only authority for all things beer…

Koerseklakske

5.5% ABV. Saison beer from Brouwerij ‘t Gaverhopke in Belgium. Picked this bottle at a beer shop in Madison, WI. Bought this because of the label (appealed to an avid biker like myself) and thought it’d be interesting to try it. Light hazy golden pour with a small white head. Left a good collar of fizzy foam. Aroma was quite fruity, some spicy yeast notes, white bread and some hay. Flavors were full of fruits esters, more yeast, light lemon peel, some bitterness and bready malt. Mouthfeel was fizzy, champagne like, light and airy. A crisp-like beer for a hot summer day after a long ride on the bike, heh.
