6.2% ABV. Pale Ale from Three Floyds in Munster, IN. Acquired growler through trade. Pours a hazy pale gold, slightly orange with minimal 1 finger head. Thin lacing lasts throughout nicely. Aroma is redolent of all types of citrus – mango, grapefruit, lemon peel, pineapple, and maybe a hint of green apple and honey. Taste is an utter hop bomb mango and grapefruit. Mild caramel dominate the palate. Body is medium with lower than average carbonation, oily on the tounge, and finishes extra dry with a very long lasting bitter citrus aftertaste. This was a really interesting APA. Glad to have tried this one out, but never will I finish the entire growler in one setting in one night ever again!
