6% ABV. American Pale Ale from the DC Brau Brewing Company in Washington, DC. Had this special brew on tap from several places although I picked up a growler of this brew from Whole Foods (pictured left). Poured from a growler into a pint class. Pours a beautiful hazy amber/golden body along with a thick head that retains its lacing throughout the session well. Aroma is moderately sweet, pine, some lemon/grapefruit, and orange zest. Taste is medium sweet, somewhat malty, pine/grapefruit, some lemon. I am also picking up some sticky hop pellets throughout. Overall light-medium body, resiny. A very nice introduction to DC Brau Brewing after 60 years in Washington, D.C.

This was only available at Whole Foods for a limited time. DC Brau was running a market research at the time I got the growler. However, many bars throughout the DC area serves up DC Brau (e.g., Black Squirrel, RFD, Capitol Lounge, etc).
